For this purpose, the QoN ++ algorithm is proposed - an extension of the QoN-ASW algorithm that uses the concept of Quality of Nodes to adjust the message forwarding strategy in a network, and considers message deliveries as events to be notified to other nodes in the network. The ONE simulator is used in conjunction with the Infocom06 trace file to simulate the QoN++ algorithm and compare its performance with QoN-ASW. For the experiments design, the 2kr Factorial model is used to study the effect of interactions of multiple factors on network overhead. In the performance analysis, we varied the buffer size of the nodes in a network, the number of message copies and their generation intervals. As a contribution of this work, the efficient buffer management provided by QoN++ stands out, offering a reduction in network overhead and an increase in message delivery rates, at the cost of a small increase in average delays. A presente disserta????o tem como objetivo reduzir a sobrecarga em redes tolerantes a atrasos e desconex??es. Para esta finalidade, prop??e-se o algoritmo QoN++, uma extens??o do algoritmo QoN-ASW que utiliza o conceito de Qualidades dos N??s para ajustar a estrat??gia de encaminhamento de mensagens em uma rede e que considera as entregas de mensagens como eventos a serem notificados aos demais n??s da rede. O simulador ONE ?? utilizado em conjunto com o arquivo de trace do evento Infocom06 para simular o algoritmo QoN++ e compar??-lo com o desempenho de QoN-ASW. Para o projeto de experimentos, emprega-se o modelo Fatorial 2kr no estudo do efeito das intera????es de m??ltiplos fatores na sobrecarga na rede. Na an??lise de desempenho, variamos o tamanho de buffer dos n??s de uma rede, o n??mero de c??pias de mensagens e seus intervalos de gera????o. Como contribui????o deste trabalho, destaca-se o eficiente gerenciamento de recursos de buffer proporcionado pelo QoN++, oferecendo redu????o de sobrecarga em redes e aumento nas taxas de entrega de mensagens, ao custo de um pequeno acr??scimo nos atrasos m??dios. |
