Psychosocial aspects of environmental education in Technical Course in Agricultural campus of Colorado do Oeste - RO

No. of bitstreams: 1 2012 - Rafael Norberto de Aquino.pdf: 14446384 bytes, checksum: 8c305db606a8ccf4773983287f403dd6 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-09-21 This research was conducted at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondonia - Colorado do Oeste Campus in the academic year of 2010/2011 with ninety-six students of the Farming Technician course fifty six from first series, an forty from the third series with the aim of identifying environmental values that the institution and subjects have about the farming activities and their possible impacts in the region. The methodology chosen for this work was inspired by recent studies of social psychology, anthropology and social sciences on the social representations and the technique used was the "Collective Subject Discourse" (DSC), Lef?vre and Lef?vre (2005), which allows to conduct this research in a qualified way through questionnaires with open questions and through a photographic survey of the Campus. Were applied fifty-six questionnaires for students who were starting the course and forty for those who were concluding. Completed the application and analysis of research instruments, plus live in the institution, it was observed that there is an urgent need to introduce environmental issues in the training of technicians in the agricultural IFRO - Colorado do Oeste Campus so that they may be able to carry out their activities in agriculture not only technical but also with environmental responsibility in decision making in day to day. Esta pesquisa realizou-se no Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia de Rond?nia ? C?mpus Colorado do Oeste no ano letivo de 2010/2011 com 96 estudantes do curso T?cnico em Agropecu?ria sendo 56 da primeira s?rie e 40 da terceira s?rie, com a finalidade de identificar os valores ambientais que os sujeitos e a institui??o t?m a respeito da atividade agropecu?ria e seus poss?veis impactos na regi?o. Para isso a metodologia escolhida para o trabalho foi inspirada nos estudos recentes da psicologia social, da antropologia e das ci?ncias sociais sobre as representa??es sociais e a t?cnica utilizada foi a do ?Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo? (DSC), Lef?vre e Lef?vre (2005), que permite a realiza??o de pesquisas de modo qualiquantitativo atrav?s da aplica??o de question?rios com perguntas abertas e por meio de um levantamento fotogr?fico do C?mpus. Foram aplicados 56 question?rios para os estudantes que estavam iniciando o curso e 40 para os que estavam concluindo. Conclu?da a aplica??o e a an?lise dos instrumentos da pesquisa, somados a viv?ncia na institui??o, observou-se que h? necessidade urgente de introduzir assuntos ambientais na forma??o dos t?cnicos em agropecu?ria do IFRO ? C?mpus Colorado do Oeste para que eles possam ter condi??es de realizar suas atividades n?o somente t?cnica agropecu?ria como tamb?m com responsabilidade ambiental nas tomadas de decis?es no dia-dia.
