Popis: Aim: To assess the frequency of teacher burnout and its relationship with psychosocial factors at work. Tasks: 1) to assess of frequency of job burnout syndrome among teachers; 2) to evaluate professional burnout links with socio-demographic and psychological well-being and behavioral risk factors; 3) to assess the psychosocial working conditions of teachers; 4) to evaluate the relationship between job burnout and psychosocial factors at work. The results showed that occupational burnout experienced a quarter (25 percent) Kaunas city surveyed high school teachers. A statistically significant relationship between occupational burnout components and high-voltage work and dissatisfaction with their work. Exploring the links between teachers‘ professional burnout and psychological factors at work logistik regression analysis model, taking into account gender, ege, job satisfaction, job adapting it to the home and family, mental distress, subjective assessment of their impact on health, found that teachers experiencing high demands at work 3 times more likely to experience significant professional burnout (adjusted OR = 2.91, 95 percent CI = 1.38 to 6.12). Teachers are experiencing psychological distress, almost 6 times more likely to experience significant professional burnout. Conclusion: Professional burnout experienced a quarter (25 percent) surveyed Kaunas city secondary school teachers. Professional burnout was associated with the most high standarts of work and psychological distress.
