The aim of the research: Synthesis of 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives, reaction optimization and fluorine introduction by Balz-shiemann reaction. Results of the research: The purity of synthetic derivatives is 80-96%. Three of the four synthesized 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives were able to modify by getting Schiff base. Conclusions: 1. Four 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives were synthesized by using different methodologies of: Eva Akerblom and Kurt Skagius, Rao and Srinivasan, Pedro Ortega-Luoni, and C. Ainsvort. 2. An optimization of the reactions were conducted and it was concluded that when anhydrous iron (III) chloride is used as oxidizing agents and ethyl acetate as extractant the reaction was faster and the yield was higher. 3. The structures of the derivatives are approved by the FT - IR and MS spectral analysis, and impurity analysis by ESC-MS method. The purity of the obtained derivatives: 80-96%. |
