Coma (deep sleep) is a disorder of consciousness caused by diffuse cortical dysfunction or damage to the retina by the brain stem. Intensive care units treat a large number of people of different age each year with coma of various etiology. Coma patients mortality is high. According to various scientific articles, mortality can reach as much as 90 percent, but it is highly dependent on coma etiology and other factors, so in this research we plan to investigate the factors related to the higher risk of mortality in coma patients. |
