Tasks of the research paper: 1. To establish the relation of complications of delivery to the time of GD diagnosis establishment. 2. To interpret the most common complications of GD to its time of diagnosis establishment. 3. To evaluate the complications that arose in a newborn due to his or her mother’s GD. Methods used in the research paper: The data on mothers with GD and their newborn at the Kaunas Clinics Obstetrics and Gynecology department of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences was assessed retrospectively.
