Micro and small enterprises provide a large part of employment and are important for the economy. The high-tech sector is defined by Eurostat, and enterprises in this sector heavily use highly advanced or cutting-edge technologies, and the development of their outputs is often combined with high innovation and/or R&D costs. These enterprises can have a large market potential and there is visible support from public, private and non-profit organisations. Over time, we observe a long-term growth of micro and small high-tech enterprises in the Czech Republic and South Moravia. The question is what is their current state of art and what is their prediction for the future. |
