Article is addressed to a cognitive analysis problematic of the traditional folk knowledge defined as mythological knowledge of traditional cultures. It is emphasized that, in the cognitive aspect, the traditional culture cannot be described only as transfer of the knowledge from one generation to another: in addition to the adaptive-traditional mechanisms of information appearing and processing, the reformative cognitive mechanisms incorporated into the mythological thinking and generating and forming knowledge-innovations are of great importance, too. |
