Civilizations development in the XX century has shown that the contradiction between high culture on the one hand, and everyday culture as well as the ethno or folk one, from the other hand, could manifest itself in various ways. However, we can note a rather stable overall "mixing" trend of high and everyday culture with devastating consequences for the first one. I have study cultural space as a specific historical cohesiveness with a complicated and dynamic structural spatial and temporal organization. Because one could determine the cultural space’s structure by its centering and polarization processes, I considered it appropriate to use for analytical goals the rhizome concept developed by Deleuze. I pay special attention to the effect of "reducing (concentration) of the present," described by Hermann Lübbe. In my research I have shown cultural space crisis expressed by disorder of structural and functional connections between centering and polarization processes, and it causes loss of integrity and increasing rhizomisation (rhizome formation). I come to this conclusion based on the idea of heterochronism and anisotropy of cultural space. I also draw the conclusion that the "condensation of the present" and rizomisation are two factors that express the most acute and profound contradictions of contemporary cultural process. "Condensation of the present" and rizomisation are significantly compact the cultural space, but at the same time they weaken its cohesion, as well as cultural-and-creative communicative ability.
