| Popis: | Dentro de las diferentes estrategias establecidas en todos los frentes que ha afectado la llegada del COVID – 19 a Colombia y especialmente a Bogotá, siendo esta el epicentro del país y la ciudad con mayor número de casos reportados a la fecha, se destacan las acciones llevadas a cabo por la Alcaldía Mayor y la Secretaría Distrital de Salud, que de manera conjunta iniciaron la estructuración de un Plan de Acción que le permitiera a la ciudad prepararse en todas las posibles líneas de atención dispuestas para afrontar los estragos del nuevo virus. Estas acciones se encaminaron en 5 aspectos: 1. La línea de entrada del servicio (línea 123), 2. Atención Domiciliaria, 3. Pruebas Diagnósticas, 4. Capacidad de procesamiento de las pruebas y 5. Expansión Hospitalaria, todas con el único fin de ganarle tiempo al virus y establecer todas las medidas de salud pública necesarias. Una de las estrategias destacadas, es la puesta en marcha del Proyecto de Expansión Hospitalaria en Corferias, la ciudad abrió las puertas al Hospital de campaña más grande de Latinoamérica en tan solo 4 semanas, esto a su vez, permitió que la Red de Hospitales de la ciudad aumentaran su capacidad de Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos, siendo estas el talón de Aquiles de la mayoría de las ciudades del mundo que se vieron fuertemente afectadas por el virus. Así pues, Bogotá se prepara para afrontar una de las peores pandemias en la historia reciente tomando sus decisiones basados en la mejor información disponible. Hospital Expansion, all with the sole purpose to buy the virus time and establish all the necessary public health measures. One of the highlighted strategies is the implementation of the Hospital Expansion Project in Corferias, the city opened the doors to the largest Field Hospital in Latin America in just 4 weeks, this in turn, allowed the Hospital Network of The city will increase its capacity of Intensive Care Units, these being the Achilles heel of most of the cities in the world that were strongly affected by the virus.
