Profesinėse mokyklose besimokančių mokinių sociokultūrinių kompetencijų įsivertinimas

Popis: Straipsnyje pristatomos šiuolaikinės globalios visuomenės gyvenimo kokybei itin svarbios sociokultūrinės kompetencijos, teikiančios prielaidas sėkmingai asmens integracijai į nuolat besikeičiančią aplinką. Straipsnyje pateikiami mokinių, besimokančių profesinėse mokyklose, sociokultūrinių kompetencijų įsivertinimo rezultatai, kurie atskleidė, kad mokiniai iš kultūrinės kompetencijos komponentų aukščiausiai vertina kultūrinį sąmoningumą, žemiausiai – kultūrines žinias. Mokiniai, vertindami socialinės kompetencijos ugdymą, aukščiausiai įvertino bendravimą su bendraamžiais, žemiausiai – priskyrimą. The competencies, providing conditions for successful integration into the constantly changing environment, the ability to live with the others, to maintain harmonious relations and professional life as well as in civil society are becoming especially important for the quality of life in the contemporary global society. Sociocultural competencies acquired and developed throughout life, are conducive to the survival and successful work in the contemporary labour market. The vocational training as well as the lifelong learning activities comprise a favourable environment to develop these competencies. Sociocultural competences enable a person to successfully adapt, to be present and act in the public environment, they are becoming increasingly important and gain bigger significance for the employability, career, and competitiveness of a person. The methods of the research - analysis of scientific literature, survey, statistical analysis of the data. The results revealed that the students give highest priority to cultural awareness, while the lowest – to cultural knowledge. Gender occurred to be important for cultural competences, the girls rate higher their cultural awareness and sensitivity, also the cultural awareness. Students living in the city are characterized by higher cultural competence compared to those residing in the suburbs, regional or rural areas (villages). The highest social competence assessed by students was communication with peers, the lowest - attribution. The results revealed that the girls’ social competence was higher. Also, the orphans’ perception of themselves was higher compared to the students living with their parents.
