The aim of the article isto analyse the prerequisites and the process of the development of Kacey Cisyk’s performing career. The resultsdemonstrate the increasing interest in the artistic activities of one of the world’s most prominent vocalists Kacey Cisyk. By exploring certain aspects of her life and career, the main stages of the formation of her performing skills are traced; and the defining factors in the formation process are outlined, including the cultural and artistic environment of the Western Ukrainian diaspora in America, her family background, and active involvement in community, cultural, and educational organisations. It is noted that Kacey Cisyk’s concert performances and her constant fruitful work on her professional musical development contributed to the formation of her unique and distinctive performing style, which was characteristic only to her. The article analyses the singer’s song heritage, which encompasses a diverse repertoire and has made a significant contribution to the development of vocal art as a cultural asset in the context of national self-identification and as a part of contemporary Ukrainian culture. The scientific noveltyof the research lies in the fact that for the first time in domestic art studies, a holistic view of Kacey Cisyk’s creative personality is formed. In addition, the periodisation of the stages of the singer’s performing career, taking into account the main factors of the formation of a vocal career through the prism of the socio-cultural and artistic environment, is studied. Conclusions.As a result of the study, the main prerequisites and the process of the development of Kacey Cisyk’s performing career are analysed. The main factors influencing the creative vector of the singer’s development, which was reflected in each period of her performing practice, are clarified. |
