Unite! (University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering) is a European university alliance of nine partners (Technical University of Darmstadt, Aalto University, Grenoble INP graduate school of engineering and management, University Grenoble Alpes, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Politecnico Di Torino, Universidade de Lisboa, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech, Graz University of Technology, and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology). The Metacampus (https://metacampus.unite-university.eu/) is the meeting point of the Unite! community, which fosters the collaboration and communication among the stakeholders of the alliance and offers joint lectures, summer schools and other events. The goal of this workshop is to introduce the idea of Open Badges and demonstrate how a teacher or activity coordinator can use Metacampus to set up the automatic issuing process of an Open Badge as well as how a student or participant can obtain and share an Open Badge. The event also encourages conversation about potential guidelines for issuing Open Badges in Unite! |
