The article examines information and psychological wars, analyzes its philosophical basis, components, conditions of development, methods of its conduct, which today determine the results of any modern military confrontation. Particular attention is paid to the role of the media in the operations of information and psychological warfare and its technologies. The study analyzes ways to counteract information aggression and ensure information security of society. Information and psychological warfare is defined as a “war of culture”, as a cultural conflict that manifests itself through the partial destruction of the foundations of society and values and allows the enemy to consolidate its influence. Attention is focused on the fact that in such a war the alienation of a person from his culture, from cultural identity is realized and thus devastates the cultural codes of society. The complex of means of information and psychological influence on the population, elite of the country, troops, defined by the term “information and psychological operations” is analyzed. It is determined that all information and psychological operations represent coordinated advocacy and psychological influence. Linguistic problems of information-psychological wars are characterized. The article presents some as theoretical positions that can form the psychological basis of linguistics of information-psychological warfare. The conditions of success of psychological influence, which are directly related to the influence of words, the organization of language influence, taking into account the laws of perception, understanding and assimilation of information, logical productivity of texts and taking into account the peculiarities of beliefs, stereotypes and attitudes. Some language strategies and tactics of information-psychological warfare are named and the possibilities of linguistic analysis of texts of information-psychological warfare are shown on concrete examples taking into account the basic theoretical and practical developments of psychology of war. |
