Popis: This study explored the influence of big-five personality traits, cognitive bias, and decision-making style on entrepreneurial success. It employed a descriptive correlational and causal research design among 329 business education students. Results showed that business education students highly exhibited personality traits like openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, and agreeableness, but low neuroticism. It also showed a very high demonstration of decision-making styles on rational, intuitive, and dependent, while a high and low demonstration was depicted on spontaneous and avoidant decision-making styles. Cognitive biases encompassing overconfidence and optimism were highly demonstrated. Entrepreneurial success among business education students is rated high. Also, a positive relationship was observed between the identified variables. Further, multiple linear regression analysis confirmed the predictive influence of big-five personality, decision-making style, and cognitive bias on entrepreneurial success. In the academic setting, institutions are encouraged to consider honing these entrepreneurial success predictors. An increase in the percentage of business education graduates who will choose entrepreneurship as a career choice is projected. Hence, producing enterprising students requires a thorough understanding of their entrepreneurial traits. These traits also need reinforcements from the academic perspective to nurture entrepreneurial propensities.
