Popis: Endometriosis is a gynecologic disorder affecting up to 10% of women of reproductive age. Women with endometriosis may represent a suitable group for fertility preservation (FP) since they are at risk for compromised ovarian reserve. However, data on FP in endometriosis patients remains extremely scarce. The present investigation aims to describe the first cohort of endometriosis patients having undergone oocyte vitrification and to draw some preliminary conclusions on FP in this subgroup of women. We performed a retrospective observational cohort study between November 2013 and March 2017. 49 patients, aged 21-40 years, diagnosed with endometriosis, were included. All women were sorted into three groups according to their endometriosis phenotype as follows: 2 had superficial endometriosis, 22 had deep infiltrating endometriosis and 35 had endometrioma. 70 controlled ovarian stimulations cycles were analyzed. The mean number of mature oocytes cryoconserved was 10.7±4.9 per patient and the mean number of recovered and mature oocytes per cycle was 9.5±6.1 and 7.2±4.9, respectively. These parameters were significantly lower in patients reporting previous endometrioma excision when compared with those without ovarian surgery (6.8±4.4 vs. 11.2±6.5oocytes recovered, p
