Popis: | Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is the most common of hereditary neurological diseases. It implies foot neuro-orthopaedic deformations whose surgical managment are complex. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mid-term results of foot neuro-orthopedic deformations surgery in CMT. This is a retrospective study that includes all patients who were to undergo this surgery with confirmed CMT diagnosis by a neurologist. Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) method was use to assess the surgery efficacy. A primary functional goal possibly associated with secondary goals were established before the intervention. At 3 months 18,7% of benign adverse effect. A telephone survey was performed between March and June 2016 allowing to calculate the T-score according GAS method. Fifty-one patients (75 surgeries) were included in the study. Twenty-five (37 surgeries) of them could be reached in 2016, an average of 7 years after surgery. T-score in 2016 (mean value 52,92) was significantly increased compared to T-score before surgery (mean value 38,26) (p |
