Popis: The myth of Summertime (fullness, fertility, triumph of light forces) represents a symbolic complex, centred around a Lover, accompanied by i.a. the actualization of a topos of a holy esposal or entering the paradise. In the article, I interpret the thematic-pictorial dominants of the poetics of Urszula Kozioł, Ewa Filipczuk and Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna, searching for the personification of the myth of Summertime – a Lover. The images of a fulfilled Lover prevail in the poetics of Urszula Kozioł and Ewa Filipczuk. In the poetry of Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna, a Lover rejects sensual love (eros) in favour of platonic love (caritas). All three poets refer to the myth of Arcadia, invoking the hierophanic concept of time, the eternal return and rebirth. In poetry, this myth is accompanied by the image of sacralisation of nature. The poetic representation of a Lover is often characterised by fertility, with its activities focused on creation, understood both as giving new life and artistic creativity.
