Penelitian mengkaji komposisi dan kelimpahan fitoplankton pada ekosistem perairan pantai kelurahan Tekolabbua, Kecamatan Pangkajene, Kabupaten Pangkep ABSTRACT The research on composition and abundance of phytoplankton has been conducted in coastal waters of Tekolabbua Village, Pangkajene district, Pangkep regency, South Sulawesi province. The purpose of the research was to determine the composition and abundance of phytoplankton in these waters. Phytoplankton sampling was done using no.25 planktonnet in six observation stations and combed by using Sedwick Rafter Counting Cell. The result show that there were 15 genera of phytoplankton which dominated by diatoms and Dinoflagellates. The highest abundance found in the station 3 is 9125 ind/L. Diversity index (H ') ranged from 1.286 to 1.842 which indicating that there was unstable ecological conditions and uniformity index (E) ranging from 0.2 to 0.384 which indicating that there was unstable community due to the dominance of other community |
