Only a small proportion of low-literate adults attend courses for basic education. Addressing these people cannot be exclusively through the media; rather, they should also be reached by the multipliers from their social sphere. This article uses practical examples to show how formal measures for advisors can be designed and carried out in order to raise their awareness on the topic of low literacy. Personal addressing of low-literate adults should be facilitated and encouraged in this way. |
