A qualitative research strategy has been used for research, a polling Metod and semi-structured interview technique and SWOT analysis. In 5 out of 11 cases they are even faced with uneducated personnel, who disrupt therapy. Zoo therapists who were approached for research do not realize any limits on hygiene measures, and that is exactly in 9 out of 11 cases. All 9 stated that they adhere to basic hygiene rules, sufficient hand washing, bringing in own food and bowle for the animals. 1 of the informants mentioned restrictions on physical contact with people, who suffer from a contagious disease. Only in 1 answer stated that hygienic measures apply to kitchens or dining rooms where animals do not come and do not have access.
