The main aim of this thesis is to investigace the number of larval adipocytes in the first days of adult life of Drosopohila melanogaster and to study the effect of high fat diet on their amount and size by high fat diet. The theoretical part provides a conceptual background concerning the role of adipose tissue and its macrophages. Moreover, it summerizes what is known about the influence of high fat diet on adipose tissue remodeling. The number of larval adipocytes in specific body part sis examined at specific hours post eclosion in the practical part. Furthermore, it involves the analysis of paraffin sagital crosscuts and the comparison of the number of larval adipocytes, lipofuchsin granules and the size of individual larval adipocytes, larval and adult fat body in flies fed on the normal and high fat diet. Last but not least, it avers the ganges in expresion of genes which play a crucial role in the activation of adipose tissue macrophages and the induction of systemic matabolic ganges in the result on the normal and the high fat diet. |
