Bachelor thesis deals with the state of alcohol consumption in the Czech Republic in years 2007 to 2014. Alcohol consumption data are obtained from an official database of the Czech statistical office called Household Budget Survey focusing on households. The factors influencing alcohol consumption are characterized based on household's conditions. The critical factors are found to be household status, type of household, number of children and place of resident. Furthermore, the influence of government regulations on alcohol consumption is analysed in order to provide recommendations for their effective enforcement. |
