Bachelor thesis Options for improving the quality of seeds using stimulants in seed technology (seed treatment, incrustation) describes possibilities of increasing seed quality in general, especially the seed plants in the family Apiaceae, which has long and difficult germination. There are described various factors affecting the quality of seeds and ways to improve seed quality. In the practical part were evaluated two kinds of plants: parsley (Petroselinum Crispum (MILL.) NYM. ex A. W. HILL convar. radicosum (ALEF.) DANERT) and carrot (Daucus carota L. subsp. sativus (HOFFM.) SCHÜBL & MART.) grown on two locations in 3 variantions of seed treatment and also control variant. Roots were weighted for evaluate total yield, yield of roots for markets and percentage of market roots from total yield. |
