Popis: This bachelor thesis focuses on measuring the effectivness of output in public administration. The first part describes public administration and the terms associated with it. Public administration focuses on good governance and smart administration and these targets are fulfilled by the values of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. To reach these targets it´s necessary to find and implement methods that help improve efficiency. Last but not least it´s crucial to measure the overall change in efficiency. The fundamental part of this analysis focuses on the following two selected methods, the benchmarking and the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) method. The methods are assessed by their strengths and weaknesses based on questionnaire surveys and comparing the results of the individual methods. Each of the monitored methods are different and both methods have their advantages and disadvantages. In conclusion we can say that the method of benchmarking has greater predictive value.
