The main aim of this bachelor paper was to find how students these days are knowledgeable in banking products problems. The paper is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part defines financial literacy, refers to the organisations working on this field, compares education of financial literacy in the Czech Republic and in the world, introduces the banking products available in our country, and indicates the results of previous studies. The practical part is focused on a research held at secondary schools. The outcomes of the research show the level of financial literacy of students, mainly how good they are in understanding the banking products offered. The research included final year students of various types of secondary schools (grammar schools, special secondary schools). |
