Jílková, S. Management of supplies in selected company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. The bachelor thesis aims to evaluate the process of inventory management in the company. The partial goals will be to analyse current processes in the field of inventory management in the company. The theoretical part contains definitions of terms such as logistics, stocks, their classification and inventory management. It clarifies the importance of financial analysis, ABC analysis and EOQ optimization model. The practical part introduces the company and its current inventory management. In agreement with the company, five items are selected for which the EOQ model is applied. Based on this model, the optimum delivery size, optimum delivery cycle length and optimum number of deliveries per year are determined. The results of these values are then compared with reality. The discussion includes an evaluation of the current and optimal state and proposes appropriate measures. |
