Popis:	The first part of this Bc. thesis summarizes the methods which are used for the study of population biology of bats. In the second (practical) part I assigned the abundance of Daubenton?s bats in the selected area of Českobudějovická basin. In addition, I researched how the number of bats is changing with the increase of distance from the pond?s bank; comparing the changes in the abundance between seasons 2008/2009 and estimating a minimal population density of Daubenton?s bats.
