Popis:	This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the Operation Desert Storm (1991) and the Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003), brought against Iraq. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one focuses on the historical and political context of the Iraq conflict. In the second chapter, the attention is paid to the appreciation for reasons of a military solution and the course of both actions. The third chapter summarizes the consequences of the war to the situation in Iraq.
