The thesis deals with the possibilities of application of the Dalton Plan within extracurricular activities, i.e. in school clubs. The first part of the thesis describes the history of extracurricular activities and conditions of education, such as legislation or organization. The second part presents a research carried out at three elementary schools, which apply Dalton principles in education. The aim of the research was to find out how the Dalton principles are applied at school clubs of the chosen schools. The last section of the thesis compares conditions of education with the reality of extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the possibilities of application of the Dalton principles in extracurricular activities are assessed. |
