1 Internet Freedom as a Tool of U. S. Foreign Policy in Relation to the Arab Spring analyzes political speeches of Hillary Clinton concerning "Internet Freedom" policy. I try to find out if there is some evidence supporting criticism about this issue using Critical Diskourse Analysis. As a result of this I have discovered that Clinton's approach is very weak primarily in transparency and regulation issues. I claim that the purpose of "Internet Freedom" is not to break the balance of power in the Middle East and cannot be seen as an extension of the traditional human rights.
