Analysis of interactive elements in virtual exhibitions from the user's perspective

Popis: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the way of engagement in virtual exhibitions. The thesis contains definitions of virtual exhibitions within the relationships towards the users. The goal of the study is to analyse the way of user engagement in two virtual exhibitions that were chosen for this thesis. The study research was carried out as qualitative user interviews, and content and formal analysis of the chosen virtual exhibitions. The two virtual exhibitions that were chosen were the Czech Forgotten War and foreign Where is Poland. The two exhibitions use different ways of user engagement. The research was conducted among Czech and foreign respondents to ensure the diversity of the collected data. All data were conducted from 79 users. The research shows that in the case of selected exhibition, usage of interactive elements can embrace the theme and engage with the visitor. Needless to say, it depends on other factors as well such as theme, design and content layout of the exhibition. Key word: virtual exhibitions, user, interaction, new media, online learning museum
