This Bachelor Dissertation deals with the topic of medical care risks, their monitoring and prevention, with a special accent on the area of medical documentation and the role of this documentation in the process of risk management. It mainly tries to survey the level of knowledge of medical documentation content among the nursing staff and concerns with the most frequent risk factors with which the nurses meet within their practice. At the same time, on the basis of the obtained data, it points out the necessity of systematical approach to the issues related to the content and purpose of the new form of documentation. The research which the Dissertation draws on was conducted at surgical departments of a district hospital in the region of Pardubice. |
