| Popis: | The aim of my Bachalor thesis is to analyze and assess the role of online comparison websites in the field of insurance on Czech and Slovak market. In the first chapter I focus on distribution of insurace products and I describe direct and indirect distribution channels. In the second chapter I characterize online comparison websites and their advantages and disadvantages. I examine the offer of chosen websites functioning on Czech and Slovak insurance market. By using my own questionare I study how often and why people use online comparison websites. In the last chapter I look at the possible impact of comparison websites on the insurance market. I base this mostly on experiences from the Great Britan where online comparison websites have been big player for a while. In the end of my thesis I explore how comparison websites might envolve in the future and how they can with other technological start-ups influence distribution of insurance products. |
