Popis: | The work maps the variation and transformation of protagonists a less known part of Jaroslav Foglar's novel. The basis for this analysis is Joseph Campbell's theory of monomyth and its aim is to analyse the traditional view of the author's work as being situated between the poles of artistic competence and the pedagogical-moral appeal. The interpretation of the protagonists will be directed toward a certain typology in terms of their anchoring in the given environment (the role of the city and the nature), their relationship to society (the problem of authority and the relationship to adulthood) and their own inner world - the self-reflection of the protagonists and their psychological development in narrative.
