The aim of this work is to find out the representation of the German comparative phraseologisms as blue as … in the German corpus DeReKo and their potential Czech equivalents in the Czech National Corpus. The comparative phraseologisms are analysed from the formal, semantic and lexicographic view. The formal point of view includes the grammar form of the phraselogism, its possible variants and adequate Czech phraseological equivalents. In the semantic part, there is a comparison of the Czech translations from the parallel corpus InterCorp. Subsequently is from the point of Czech native speaker considered if the phraseologisms have to be represented in the dictionaries.
