Popis:	The bachelor thesis contains a translation of a selected chapter from the publication Johann Sebastian Bach by the German musicologist Malte Korff. The thesis aims to create a translation which would introduce the life and work of Johann Sebastian Bach to the Czech reader. The second part of the bachelor thesis comprises of a commentary on the translation which includes a translation analysis of the source text according to Christiane Nord, a description of a translation method, a typology of translation problems and shifts.
