Irena Novotná Title: A Case Study of Physiotherapy on a Patient with Vertebral Algic Syndrome of the Lower Spine Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide a comprehensive summary of theoretical information related to lower back pain. The work includes a list of the most suitable diagnostic and therapeutic methods to this issue. Lastly, the thesis provides a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with lower back pain. Methods: Throughout the duration of the case study, I applied physiotherapeutic methods and procedures that I had acquired during my three-year study of physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Charles University. Results: The effectiveness of physiotherapeutic care was assessed by comparing the patient's initial and final kinesiological assessment, which are summarized in the chapter titled "Evaluation of Therapy Effect". The therapy had a favorable impact on the patient's overall condition. Conclusion: This bachelor's thesis is based upon continuous professional practice. The first part of the thesis focuses on theoretical knowledge related to the problem of lower back pain.
