This work is about renewable sources of electricity. It discusses the particular characteristics and possibilities of current and future use of the most basic renewable energy sources. The work includes a basic explanation of the historical development and use of the energy potential of water, wind, solar and biomass. There is also included information about the early days of electricity, the most important personalities of these resources, their advantages and disadvantages compared with the fossil fuels. A separate chapter is devoted to the discussion of the necessary legal steps related to the current applicable legislation. |
