The thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of the definition of basic concepts that relate to the issue of parental responsibility. The next chapter consists of a description of parental responsibility to the child and discusses its implementation in cases where parents live together and not. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the resolution of parental conflicts in court and out of court. The final part of the theoretic definition concerns the Cochem method, mainly the official German definition, and next, the description of this practice in the Czech Republic. There is a comparison of both applications of Cochem practice. Furthermore, the work provides an insight into the pros and cons of the issue and the results in possible proposals and measures to improve the model in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the work focused on summarizing and evaluating information concerning the use of Cochem practice obtained from a questionnaire survey of Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children employees. This information is further analysed and provides answers to the research questions which are discussed at the end. |
