The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the offer of further education in the field of leadership in the Czech Republic. The theoretical basis of the work is the professional development of approaches to leadership and managerial competencies. First, the area of leadership, the development of theories of management and leadership, and the functions, roles and competencies of managers are defined and described. Further, attention is paid to the forms and methods of education and development of managers, further education in the context of lifelong learning and the development of managerial competencies. The aim of the empirical survey is to determine the percentage of selected managerial competencies in the courses of sixty educational institutions. Subsequently, the obtained data are compared with the degree of importance of the given competencies for the performance of managers according to available empirical studies. The empirical survey is supplemented by a questionnaire, which is focused on the area of further education of managers.
