| Popis: | The thesis is comprised of two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The practical part includes a cycle of paintings - a series of 8 portraits of endangered animal species in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the reasons behind their endangered status, their current situation in the Czech Republic and a general overview of the endangered animal species issue. The thesis also presents a brief outline of animal imagery from the point of view of art history from the beginning until the present day. |
