Popis: The bachelor thesis deals with emergency medical service vehicle equipment and devices that are mandatory, each vehicle must meet certain conditions in accordance with legislation. The reader will be introduced to the differences between the individual EMS vehicle types and their equipment. There is legislation setting out conditions for working with excessive burdens and their limit values, which are often exceeded when it comes to paramedic practice. The paper also mentions the parameters of selected essential technical elements of EMS vehicle equipment. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to map an overview of the actual weights of equipment and devices and compare it with requirements for the equipment of emergency medical service vehicles. The goal was also to find out how paramedics perceive thy physical load of the equipment, and thus create a basis for potential innovative procedure related to EMS vehicle equipment. The research part was developer by measuring the weights of medical devices and equipment. The data collection was subsequently amended with the results of a questionnaire, which had been answered by fourteen paramedics. Prior to the research, three research questions were defined, concerning the weight of equipment, subsequent comparison with health and safety regulations, and finally the opinion of the paramedics themselves concerning this issue. The objective of creating an overview of the weights of individual medical equipment and devices, that are commonly used in the field during emergency medical service interventions and the objective of detecting the opinion of paramedics on the given topic were both met. In addition, the real equipment weight load was compared with health and safety regulations. The objective of creating a basis for potential innovative procedures has been fulfilled.
