Author: Petr Valenta Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after vertebroplasty Objectives: The aim of this paper is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about vertebroplasty and the facts leading to this procedure and to present a possible example of physiotherapeutic care in a specific case of a patient after percutaneous vertebroplasty. Methodology: The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and special. The theoretical part contains general knowledge of kinesiology of the spine, problems of compression fractures and osteoporosis and physiotherapeutic methods and procedures related to these diagnoses. All the information contained in the theoretical part has been taken from the literature. The special part of this bachelor thesis was prepared on the basis of a continuous professional practice in the period from 24 January to 4 February 2022 at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady. It is prepared as a case report of a patient after percutaneous vertebroplasty. It contains kinesiological analysis, records of the course of therapy, outcome kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy.
