Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after reoperation of a total hip replacement. Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was a comprehensive elaboration and summary of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to physiotherapeutic care after reoperation of a total hip replacement. Method: The bachelor thesis consists of two main parts - general and special. The first, general part, contains knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint. It contains a chapter on coxarthrosis, its etiology and possibilities of its treatment. It also describes the various types og hip implants, the most commonly used surgical approches, indications, contraindicatios and complications of the surgery. It also includes a description of the cource of preoperative rehabilatition, early rehabilitation after surgery and subsequent medial rehabilitation. The second, special part, contains a case study of a patient after reoperatin of a total hip replacement, the course of treatment and evaulation of the effect of therapy. Results: The goals of the short - term therapeutic plan were fullfilled. The applied therapy increased the range of motion in the joints of the operated lower limb, increased muscle strength, stretched shortened muscles, affected hypertonic muscles,... |
