This bachelor thesis deals with the inter-municipal cooperation in selected municipalities in the administrative district of Znojmo - municipality with extended powers. Through its own qualitative survey, necessary information to evaluate the subsequent municipalities´ cooperation in the region was collected directly from local officials. The cooperation primarily focuses on a project to support municipal cooperation which was carried out in the area in the period from 1 May 2013 to 30 June 2015. The survey revealed that the project System support for development of inter-municipality cooperation in the Czech Republic, in short called Municipalities for themselves, led to successful development of cooperation between autonomous rural -type communities, in particular by strengthening mutual relations and building trust for joint projects. It also provided specific analyzes goals and recommendations for further development of the region which can be achieved through inter-municipal cooperation. |
