The bachelor thesis School broadcasting as a tool for the developement of the media literacy is dedicated to the creation of the school radio in the context of the media literacy. In particular, the bachelor thesis deals with the role of media production activities in the media education and their expected outputs, with an emphasis on the school radio. In the theoretical part of the thesis is first of all characterised the consolidation of the media education in the Czech eduacational system with the focus on the concept learning by doing. Subsequently, the thesis is dedicated to the school radio, its history and the technical and personal aspect of its operation. Besides, it contemplates the problem of the methodical support for teachers and school radio creators. Moreover, a brief description of chosen foreign projects concerning methodical support is brought up. The practical part of the thesis consists the data obtained from interviews with redactions of school radios in schools in the Czech republic. It is mainly focused on the practical side of the operation of the school radio and on competences that students can gain by participating on the creation of the school radio. In the end, these competences and experiences are compared with expected outputs of production activities in media education. |
