Popis: This Bachelor thesis deals with the effects of the enlargement of the European Union and the accession of Central and Eastern European countries in 2004 on the German labor market. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate the restrictions that were placed upon the free movement for workers from the new member countries, which were used in Germany and why these restrictions were necessary or, if they seem, from today's point of view, arbitrary. The main reasons for keeping and implementing these restrictions will be discussed throughout this thesis. Concluding this Bachelor thesis it will show the influence of Central and Eastern European countries, in particularly the Czech Republic, on the German labor market.
