Popis: Time Accessibility On Rail In The Czechoslovak Republic In 1937 Abstract The Bachelor thesis analyzes accessibility of capital city as well as country centers and deals with calculation of hypothetical administrative centers of countries in the Czechoslovak Republic using rail transport in 1937. Transport accessibility is defined as time spent commuting from starting point to final destination (center) pursuant to selected typology of railway track. Basic data are digitized maps of railway infrastructure used for operation of passenger rail services and valid timetable of the Czechoslovak State Railways in year 1937. Using cartographic tool Network Analyst running in ArcGIS 10.0 software transport time accessibility for all centres of political districts existing within the countries of the Czechoslovakia as well as centers of higher administrative units - countries was determined. Subsequently calculation of hypothetical centres optimally accessable for all countries within the Czechoslovak Republic as well as center of republic as whole was performed pursuant to cumulative time accessibility from centre of political districts.
