This work is focused mostly on the demographic data published by Czech statistical office and Czech insurance association. In the field of demography is monitored mainly the development of population, age composition and life expectancy. There is also displayed the calculation method of the insurance premium, the development of written premium and indemnity. There is described the effect of mortality tables to calculate premiums and the connecion between other measured variables. It turned out, that the development of indicators of the life insurance market is different than it should be, based on demographic development. Therefore it seems, that there are other, stronger influences affecting the insurance market. |
